John W. Whitehead’s song “This Feeling of Being Lost” has been ranked among the top 10 winners of a music and performance video contest sponsored by the Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida. The contest is part of a campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of psychiatric drugs and medicating children.

The song was written by Whitehead and performed by Joshua Whitehead, his son. The music video was produced by Chris Combs of the Rutherford Institute, the Albemarle County-based civil rights organization that John Whitehead founded and runs.

“This Feeling of Being Lost” was also awarded “the most artistic song and lyrics” in the competition.
