John W. Whitehead Presents Keynote Address at 48th Annual Education Law Conference in New Orleans

Rutherford Institute President Engages in Point/Counterpoint Dialogue with ACLU Director

NEW ORLEANS, La.
--John W. Whitehead, president and founder of The Rutherford Institute, will participate in a point/counterpoint dialogue with ACLU Chicago's Communications Director Edwin Yohnka on Nov. 14, 2002, at 4:15 pm, CST. The keynote discussion, "Balancing Rights: Education Law in a Brave New World," is part of the Education Law Association's 48th annual conference, which is taking place at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, Nov. 14-16, 2002.

Among the other speakers scheduled are: Brian W. Jones, general counsel for the Department of Education, speaking on "No Child Left Behind"; John W. Borkowski, a partner with Hogan & Hartson, giving a "Supreme Court Update"; and the Honorable C. Hearn Taylor speaking on "Juvenile Justice Today."
