Parakletos is The Rutherford Institute’s bi-monthly affiliate attorney newsletter. Greek for advocate/intercessor, the word “parakletos” traces its roots back to ancient times. Translated in a variety of ways, “parakletos” refers to one who comes alongside and encourages us, one who enables us to be brave, one who empowers us to cope with the struggles and battles of life.

Every issue of Parakletos includes articles about precedent-setting cases, recent legal victories, and at least one profile on a Rutherford affiliate. The newsletter also features cases and events listed by circuit so that affiliates can see how the Institute is active in his or her particular geographical region. By informing affiliates about the Institute’s legal battles, we hope to strengthen their commitment to our cause and remind them that the fight for freedom rages on in our nation.
